The Great Sand Dunes

Last week, I accompanied 14 students from my school and one other teacher on a 4 day camping trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. It was great fun, even though I was injured (more on that to come). Here are some of the pictures I took.

Camping--updated

We went camping last weekend. It was the first time our family has gone camping. It was great fun. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the tent and eating our breakfast outside. Addie and Sonya enjoyed playing in the dirt. By Saturday evening, Sonya looked like an Orc. Several families from our church we with us. It was a great time. We hope to camp one more time (at least) before the summer's end.

Saturday drive

We went for a drive in the mountains yesterday. Most of the day was nice. It started raining. It was not a great day for pictures. Go to my Flickr page (here or the link on the left) to see some of the better pictures. This is my lovely family.

Nature

I love mountains, hills, and clouds . No camera can capture them. Not even close.
