The other day I was bemoaning (to myself) the lack of references to Harmony Korine in our present culture.  Today I read this.  We are saved.
Harmony Korine came to "fame" back in 1995 as a teenager when we wrote the screenplay to the raw and controversial movie Kids.
He has directed several movies of his own, including Gummo, Julien Donkey-Boy, and Mister Lonely--all of which are extremely odd.
Here he is on David Letterman, where he makes Crispin Glover look like Regis Philbin.
Happy day.
