Quote of the day

I am reading tutorial on programming in the Python computer language. Here is a sentence (context is unimportant):
And you can still easily find the Nth character of a string in constant time, if you assume that the string doesn’t include any astral plane characters, which is a good assumption right up until the moment that it’s not.
That seems to be a good life motto: Any assumption is good unless it is false.

Oh Jeremy....you make me laugh. I did not even understand all of this, but the assumption part was funny and true. Python computer language... hmmmm never heard of it! Have fun studying!!!! :) MOM
